The location of this flight experience is Goodwood Aerodrome, Sussex.

What’s Included?

  • Full briefing from your Instructor, including the history of the aircraft
  • The briefing includes the basic controls of the aircraft so that you can take control during your flight

Description:

This is the perfect experience for anyone interested in the history of the Second World War, whether it be the extraordinary feats of engineering or just wanting to experience the flight of a lifetime in a warbird.

The Flight in a Harvard experience takes you back in time, as your Instructor will explain the roles that Goodwood Aerodrome and advanced training aircraft like the Harvard played during WWII, as well as how that continues today.

Passenger Restrictions

Passenger Restrictions

  • Maximum weight 16 stone.
  • Maximum height 6’6″.
  • All passengers must have a good understanding of the English language for briefing and instruction purposes.
  • Everyone flying must be in reasonable health and able to climb into and out of the aircraft.
  • Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to fly.

Spectators

There is plenty of space for friends and family to come and watch you take off and land. We do ask that children are supervised at all times.

Duration

Please allow 90 minutes for this experience, including the briefing and your 35-minute flight, with 25 minutes airborne. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time to book in.

Dress Code

You will be provided with a flying suit and helmet, but comfort is definitely the order of the day. Please wear flat shoes and trousers.

* If all of the tickets do not sell out by the time of the countdown timer reaching zero, an additional 7 days will be added to the countdown. This 7 day extension can be repeated until a maximum of 4 times. If by 4 extensions the tickets have still not been sold out entirely, a cash alternative prize of 60% will be awarded instead of the original prize. *
