Win a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) Package Funding

This is your chance to make the dream of becoming a pilot a reality.

Receive £10,000 to fund your Private Pilot Licence (PPL) training – or, if you prefer, your Private Pilot Licence (Helicopter) PPL(H) – at any UK CAA-approved flight school of your choice.* Whether you’re starting from scratch or already have hours logged, this funding can take you a long way toward becoming a licensed pilot.

What Can the Funding Be Used For?

  • UK PPL training course (minimum 45 flight hours)
  • Ground school and CAA theory exams
  • CAA Skill Test with examiner
  • Class 2 Medical Certificate (via approved AME)
  • Flight Radiotelephony Operator’s Licence (FRTOL)

We will work with you and your chosen flight school to arrange payment directly for eligible costs up to £10,000.

  • UK Resident
  • Ages 18+ and over
    (This funding can be gifted to anyone, including those under 18, but the competition entree must be 18+ to enter by law.)

If you’ve already begun your PPL or prefer flexibility, you can choose a tax-free cash alternative of £8,000 instead.

*Spitfire Competitions will provide funding for eligible PPL training and associated costs up to a maximum total of £10,000, paid directly to the UK CAA-approved flight school selected by the winner. We do not act as the training provider, nor can we guarantee that all requirements will be completed within this funding amount.

Competition Terms

Additional Competition Information

In the event that less than seventy five percent (75%) of the total available tickets are sold by the time the countdown timer expires, the competition will automatically close. In such circumstances, the originally advertised prize will no longer apply.

Instead, the winner may be awarded a cash prize equivalent to ninety percent (90%) of the total revenue from tickets sold, less any applicable marketing expenses incurred by the promoter.

We reserve the right to substitute the advertised prize with this cash alternative, but will do our best to ensure the original prize is awarded whenever possible.
